Your startup business needs a website. If you only had someone to help you out…
Software for startups, websites dedicated to startups and new businesses. This is what we do at Prolific Web Design. We’ve already helped launch dozens of new companies, and we’d love to help you too.
Getting a website for your startup is one of the most important marketing decisions you can make. At Prolific Web Design, we specialize in creating unique design solutions for start-ups, small businesses, and even big corporations. Whether you are just starting out or looking to redesign, we use powerful tools that can help you take your business to the next level!
1 Domain name
The domain name is the most important part of your website. It’s the first impression people will have of your business, and it’s what they’ll use when they refer to it.
If you’re starting a new business, it’s really important to get this right. The domain name is what your customers will remember – so make sure it reflects your brand, company values and ethos.
2 Fast site setup
The best domain names are short, easy to pronounce and memorable. They should also be relevant to what you do as a business. We have registered hundreds of domain names and can assist you too.
Once you have your domain name, you need a website. The faster you have an online presence, the sooner Google starts indexing you. To get a new website showing up in Google’s search results can take weeks.
Once you hire us, we will publish an initial website within 48 hours and then modify as needed.
3 Free initial hosting
Web hosting is still a grey area because not many deliver what they promise. Because of that, we offer to host your startup website on our fast server for up to six months.
After that, we’ll help you migrate your website to where ever you like to host it or, you can stay on our fast Linux server for CAN $ 120/year.
For all three parts listed above, we charge a total of CAN $ 499.00 and require an initial down payment of 50%.
The website will include a landing (home) page and then, as per your requirements, include about, products and contact pages.
Prolific Web Design will create up to two email addresses for you and implement a strong spam protection filter for all pages which have a form or news letter signup option.
Free Startup Consultation Request
To get started, fill in the form and tell us about your startup project. We’ll get in touch to arrange a free consultation. Please check your email address before you submit.
If you’re starting a new business, you’ll need to find a domain name. It’s the address that people will use to find your website.
Domain names are usually made up of two parts: a top-level domain (TLD) such as .com or .ca, and a second-level domain that is specific to your business. For example, the top-level domain for Google is .com and its second-level domain is google.com.
Do keyword research. A good way to start is by doing some keyword research so you can see which words are being used most often in searches on Google and other search engines.
This doesn’t guarantee that people will visit your site when they search for those words, but it can give you an idea of what phrases might be relevant to your business and help you come up with ideas when brainstorming names.
The best domain names are short and easy to remember. They also include words that describe what your company does or what its products do. If you can’t come up with a great name, try looking at other sites in your industry or doing some keyword research to see what people are searching for online.
Don’t use hyphens or numbers in your URL unless they’re part of the product name or brand name (for example, jetblue.com). You’ll want people to be able to type in your URL quickly and easily, so stick with words that are spelled out fully (with no spaces).
Use available extensions like .com or .ca if possible; this makes it easy for people to remember where they found you online because they can see it right there in their browser address bar when they visit your site (e.g., example.com).
